Our clinics
Most of our clinics and services are by appointment.
You can also call us on 01273 305723 to book.
Long-term condition reviews
If you have a long-term condition, we will invite you for a regular review, usually once a year and often around your birthday month. These cover conditions such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and chronic kidney disease. Your review may be with a nurse, a pharmacist or a GP.
We also offer annual health checks for people with a learning disability, physical health checks for people living with a severe mental illness, and reviews for patients living with dementia.
To get the most from your review:
- book any blood test we ask for a week or two beforehand, so the results are ready
- bring a list of your medicines, and your inhalers if you use them
- complete and bring any review form we send you
- bring a urine sample if we have asked for one.
Tests and monitoring
- Blood tests (phlebotomy).
- ECGs (heart tracing).
- 24-hour blood pressure monitoring.
- Spirometry (breathing tests).
- FeNO testing (a breath test to help diagnose asthma).
- Doppler tests and compression bandaging.
To have a blood test, you need a blood test request form, either from one of our clinicians or from the hospital specialist who asked for it. Our nurses take blood from patients aged 12 and over. Children under 12 need to have their blood test at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
Vaccinations and immunisations
We offer a wide range of NHS vaccinations, including flu, COVID-19, RSV, shingles, pneumococcal and childhood vaccinations. See our Vaccinations page for who is eligible and how to book, and our Travel health page for travel vaccines. We also give B12 injections.
Women’s health
- Cervical screening (smear tests).
- Menopause and HRT reviews.
- Pessary changes.
For contraception, including the coil and implant, please see sexual health and contraception services, which provide the full range locally.
Skin and wound care
- Cryotherapy (freezing treatment for warts), held monthly.
- Dressings, wound care and stitch removal.
Health checks
- NHS Health Check for adults aged 40 to 74 who do not already have certain long-term conditions.
- Health check for patients aged 75 and over.
For help with your weight, stopping smoking or being more active, see our Self-referral services page.
Ear care
Ear irrigation is available with a practice nurse. You will first need to have used olive oil drops for about two weeks and had your ears checked by a clinician.
Our wider team
As well as GPs and nurses, our team includes a clinical pharmacist, a paramedic, a social prescriber, a mental health practitioner and a first contact practitioner, who may see you directly for certain needs. You can meet the people who look after you on our Meet the team page.
