Contact us
For most things, the quickest way to reach us is to send an online request. It goes straight to our team, who will get back to you.
You can use an online request for almost anything: booking an appointment, ordering prescriptions, sick notes, test results or an admin question.
If you cannot go online, please call us on 01273 305723 and our reception team will help. Phone lines are open until 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
You can find us at Grand Ocean, Longridge Avenue, Saltdean, Brighton, BN2 8BU.
Opening hours
We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. We are closed on weekends and bank holidays. Our phone lines are open until 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
When we are closed
When the surgery is closed, you can still get help:
- For urgent medical help that cannot wait, call NHS 111 or go to 111.nhs.uk, available 24 hours a day.
- In a life-threatening emergency, call 999.
- You can also get advice and treatment for many common conditions from a pharmacy.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use our surgery. If you have an access need, please tell us when you contact us so we can support you.
- There is a ramp up to the practice entrance, and an accessible toilet near reception.
- The car park has two marked parking spaces for Blue Badge holders. These are the only parking spaces at the practice; other visitors should use the free on-street parking nearby.
- Wheelchairs are available inside for patients to use during their visit; just ask at reception.
- Assistance dogs are welcome.
- If you need a British Sign Language or language interpreter, let us know in advance and we will arrange one free of charge.
You can also ask for information in other formats, such as large print, easy read, braille or audio. If you have a disability, impairment or sensory loss, tell us how you would like us to communicate with you and share information. We will record this and try to meet it whenever we contact you, in line with the NHS Accessible Information Standard.

Complaints
If something goes wrong, please tell us so we can put it right. You can raise a concern by online message, by email to sxicb-bh.saltdeancomplaints@nhs.net, or by post to the Practice Manager at the surgery address. Complaining will not affect the care you receive.
For full details, including timescales, complaining for someone else and how to escalate, see our Complaints page.
